After a night on the lash getting suitably pi**ed as expected and ensuring all the other teams know who we are we find ourselves at the rickshaw garage/ field.
The first thing we notice is how everybody elses rickshaw’s look finished, were as ours looks naked. Armed with heatgun we set about full pimpage in +30 degrees heat. Thanks to Totally dynamic for the sticker training, which served no purpose for us whatso-ever as we set about cannabalising there excellent stickers. Some 6 long hours, Mike and Matt had finised putting the stickers on, and they look fantastic.

Horn Please
Mike Hemingway was still busy with the longest horn installation in history… now stuff of legend. After he struggled for over 4 hous with the concept of 2 wires !! we ended up having to pay a local to do his bloody job for him. God knows how he does a full race prep of a landrover. However… he now has a new line of drinks holders he whittles out of any spare crap he can find with his trusty leathermans.
Bus surfing
First come the apologies…. sorry to Matts wife and kids, and anybody who know’s and cares about Mike Gibson… as we risked life and limb crusing through Kathmandu stood on the roof of the bus , dodging low flying cables, signs and bridges whilst the local Nepalise pointed and laughed at our obvious stupidity.

This really was stupidity at its best, and even we are surprised at how quick the tom-foolery has kicked in. It was nice to see how many others wanted to join us though.
