Team Midlifecrisis are wanting to make every donated penny count.
This is not a holiday that we expect raised funds to pay for us just to have a good time with. We are very aware that you must feel confident that your donation is used properly.
In order to be able to participate in the Rickshaw Run, we have paid for the following from our own finances.
- Purchased our very own Auto Rickshaw ….. we are going to call it Daisy as cows are sacred in India!!
- Road insurance (for what its worth!)
- Flights for all team members to and from India
- Inocculation jabs
- Visa’s
- International driving licenses
- Rickshaw run entry fees
- Toilet roll and Immodium
so as you can see, we are covering all expenses needed to get this thing to work.
We have also satisfied ourselves that those charities to benefit are using the cash efficiently.
Over 90% of all donations go directly to the programmes in operation, and are not wasted on office admin, marketing and revenue advertising. This was something we felt strongly about.
